Dillon isn't as chubby as this picture makes him seem, but he is chubbing up...This week Atticus' favorite things to play with were a can of tomato paste, phone cord, and a can of rice cereal. Who knows why, but he carted them faithfully around for many days...I love it when babies sleep with their arms above their heads...
After Atti's bath, but before we could get Dillon into the tub, Silas snuck into the bathroom and cooled himself off. The water was too shallow for him to completely submerge without laying down, but too deep to lay down without having to hold his head awkwardly above the water. We thought we'd help him out with the use of Dill's swim tube. He didn't go for it...
We hooked up with the Clarks for a family adventure to the zoo. Atticus has been there many times but never with a friend to play with. The boys had so much fun and tired themselves out completely...
Any place is a good place for doing yoga, so while us ladies were nursing the little ones the guys worked out some kinks...One very tired boy by the end of the zoo adventure...
Animal husbandry class with Tony Clark...And our 2 little monkeys watching the guinea pigs (yes, guinea pigs at the zoo).
We spent the morning at the beach on Sunday. I found a wad of fishing net that had entangled 6 crabs. Since we had no knife or scissors I took apart Vin's razor and spent my time trying to bust them free using the razor blade and tweezers. I managed to save 5 of the 6; I guess the last crustacean just didn't have the fight the others did. This fella in the picture was #4, a real rowdy character. And the bait bag, complete with the bait fish, that was attached to the wad of fishing line made it's way into Silas' stomache. We're not looking forward to the BM that that one presents itself!
The kids and I met Jen and Hunter at City Hall to play in the sand pit (yes, a sand pit at City Hall). It's really nice; big, clean (I guess no cats around City Hall), seating area with umbrellas. I split my pants open so my right cheek got some sun until some kind lady told me of my situation. Atticus is a bit of a sand-thrower (sorry, Jen), so we'll have to work on that before we go back.
And that was our week. I'll go thru the pictures on the other camera and post them soon, but right now my bed is calling me.
